Celebrating Veterans Day, Nov. 11, with Reflection and Gratitude
Veterans Day is November 11. It's an excellent time to appreciate and support our veterans. We’ve put together a few creative ways to thank the special veterans in our lives as we take time to reflect on their courage and sacrifice.
From us:
- Download a 15-page Veterans Day coloring pages bundle, just waiting for your artistic touch. We hope you find that these coloring pages are a fantastic way to reflect and remember the heroes who've served our nation.
- Red, white, and blue, reverse coloring to reflect and connect. These pages aren't about filling in the colors, they’re about cutting loose and drawing the lines. You can sit down with your loved ones, relax, and do something truly unique together. Trust me; it could be something beautiful.
- Have a veteran to thank? Make your own fun thank you cards tailored for veterans. Pair these easy cutouts with one of your favorite veteran’s preferred treats, sign your name, and it’s a go! Even a small treat can go a long way as a heartfelt "thank you."
- Here are a few more ideas to help celebrate the day with the veterans you love:
- 2025 Veterans Day Restaurant Discounts from military.com. Great source for all sorts of special goodies.
- How to Make Veterans Day for Kids Memorable (Wounded Warrior Project). Great tips for kids!
- Vettix.org offers both donated and discounted tickets for veterans. A friend told me about this and is able to get excellent concert tickets for her family. We haven’t tried it yet but it’s on our list!
Let's celebrate the courage and sacrifice of our veterans, not just on this special day, but every day. After all, they're the real stars of our nation's symphony, and they deserve all the love and gratitude we can give. Unchainedbrainz is proud to be a military family-owned company.
Happy Veterans Day and a heartfelt thank you to all our heroes, including my husband Matt and my son Alex, who currently serve.
- Janet
